There are no tents or mobile homes here: 48 comfortable chalets set in the middle of nature, in a peaceful setting, ready to welcome you for a stay of forest, laughter and relaxation. The region

La Forêt Enchantée is located in Cornille, just 10 minutes from Périgueux. This is one of the largest concentrations of prehistoric sites in the world. These include the famous \*\Grotte de Lascaux, the Rouffignac caves and the troglodytic shelters of the Vézère valley. \*\ Périgord is also a land of villages of unparalleled charm. Several are listed as among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, including La Roque-Gageac, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère and Domme. Medieval châteaux (Beynac, Castelnaud, Hautefort...) add to this wealth, as do museums, cathedrals and cities of art and history such as Périgueux, Sarlat and Brantôme.
From La Forêt Enchantée, you can access hiking trails as soon as you leave the estate. By car, you can quickly reach navigable rivers, man-made lakes, natural caves and open-air swimming spots.
There's no shortage of activities: canoeing, paddle-boarding, river cruises, cycling or horse-riding, and even hot-air ballooning for a bit of height. And for a little variety, the surrounding area offers accrobranche (tree climbing), outdoor escape games, laser tag and mini-golf.
It's impossible to talk about Périgord without mentioning its gastronomy. Foie gras, truffles, walnuts, strawberries, south-western wines: you'll find it all in the farmers' markets, gourmet restaurants and farm inns dotted around the region.
