The region

The campsite is located in La Roche-des-Arnauds, about 10 minutes from Gap. The region is famous for its aromatic plants, such as lavender and thyme, and for its local produce from the Southern Alps, such as tomme au Génépy. Foroutdoor activities, the nearby Dévoluy massif offers hiking, mountain biking and climbing routes to suit all abilities. TheSerre-Ponçon lake, around 45 minutes from the campsite, is ideal for swimming, water sports and walks on the well-maintained beaches. The Fontaine Pétrifiante at Réotier and the Demoiselles Coiffées at Théus are two geological sights that are accessible depending on the season.The Parc national des Écrins is nearby, with its many hiking trails. The Queyras Regional Nature Park, around 1h30 away, is also within easy reach for a day's exploring.
