This 3-star campsite is situated between the Atlantic Ocean, the Guérande peninsula and the Brière and Golfe du Morbihan Regional Nature Parks. Les Embruns is the perfect base from which to discover the richness of the Breton coastline and the characterful towns that surround you once you're here. The campsite offers fully-equipped mobile homes (2 to 8 people) as well as marked-out pitches for tents, caravans or motorhomes.

The region

Just 5 minutes away, the Mine d'Or beach, famous for its golden cliffs, is perfect for swimming, walking or fishing at low tide. You'll also find quieter spots such as the beaches of Loscolo and La Source. There are a number of coastal paths for cycling or walking along the ocean or the banks of the Vilaine, just 500 m from the campsite. Walkers can also explore the Brière marshes by boat from Kerhinet or Saint-Lyphard, or follow the GR34 footpaths. As for sightseeing, La Roche-Bernard has a pretty harbour, lively streets and a local market. Guérande is worth a visit for its ramparts and marshes, as is Rochefort-en-Terre, voted the most beautiful village in France. For local food, the markets in Pénestin (Sundays), Damgan and La Roche-Bernard offer crêpes, galettes, kouign amann and the famous Bouchot mussels. A number of producers also open their doors to visitors: salt works, biscuit factories, farms... Bon appétit!
